Arrived!
My apologies for not posting this on Friday as I had said. It's been busy around here! Alyena is wonderful to have in our home. I'm not sure that the boys enjoy her pulling their hair though. She looks a lot like her older sister, and I even had one of my friends tell me - "Wow, Oksana shrunk!" before they realised it wasn't Oksana. Anyways, here's some pictures.
Inspection: the dressing room is...clean enough!
Celeste and I, before I leave to Seatac with my mom and Anna
Meanwhile, Alyena has traveled from her hometown in Belarus down to Kiev, Ukraine, and then from Kiev to New York, and New York to Seattle. The Seatac plane was late, being scheduled for a 8:45 landing, but instead arriving at a few minutes to 10. They then got their luggage (This took a while) and got on the bus.

We stayed the night at our good friend's house in the area. Unfortunately we hadn't planned on staying the night, but the plane came in so late that we had to. I dislike the feeling of unbrushed teeth.
A bowlful of Russian candy, sent to us as gifts. Yum!
I seriously didn't know that Lays had Russian packaging. Fasinating.

Anticipation and cleaning!
This morning I tried to get ahold of my friend Oksana in Belarus, without much luck. Her sister, Alyena is arriving to Seatac on Thursday evening, so it's safe to assume that she's probably already started or will be beginning her journey here soon!
Meanwhile, my family is cleaning the house, getting ready, shopping, and did I mention cleaning the house?
Check back on Friday, when I'll post the events of the day of the arrival.
