Modesty Survey Results!
TheRebelution.com just launched the results of their massive Modesty Survey! Over 1,600 Christian guys answered questions on everything from glitter lotion and lip gloss to swimsuits and skirt slits! For you girls, it's everything you've ever wanted to ask guys about modesty, but were afraid to ask! For you guys, it's really interesting to see what other Christian guys think!
Most importantly, the survey is presented as a resource to help Christian girls (and guys), not a list of legalistic rules, and it is accompanied by the Modesty Survey Petition (which tons of guys have signed - 800 and counting) which encourage young women to focus on the heart, not the hemline, to honor their parents, etc.
TheRebelution.com presents the results of the survey as a big St. Valentine's Day gift from 1,600 Christian guys to all Christian girls—and I can't think of a better one!

I MISS you in choir...Mrs. C. said you are taking a class or something? In that case, I understand, but otherwise, I wanted to tell you to come back!:-)

Well I really miss being in choir too. :(
Actually I have an art class that goes until sometime in March [end of winter quarter] and I would have to get to choir quite late. *mutters about the practice time being changed inconvienently*
So I discovered that I would so much rather be in choir than at the art class (it is very boring and stressful), and after my family gets all better (we've been sick with the flu which is why my sister has not come to the last two practices) then I'll talk to my mum and see if something can be worked out. Otherwise, I'm going to ask Mrs C. if I can sing a solo at the concert because I just can't bear not to be involved! So that said...I don't know if I can come back or not. But I'm going to try...
Anyways, thanks for telling me! Like I said...I DO miss choir though I never imagined I would. :D
Ok...let me get this straight...you are going to try to come to choir and forfeit the art class? Or you can't, and you will just try to squeeze in a solo? Well, whatever you do, I just thought I would make sure you had a good reason for not being there. ;-) We DO have a wonderful new second soprano, so MAYBE if you came back, Mrs. C. would switch me to soprano and you could finally get to sing alto! That would be a great improvement. We NEED a leader in the alto section!So...have a lovely day...I hope everyone's feeling better...we had a touch of that nasty stuff too.
Well, I cannot forfeit the art class as it cost money and my parents paid for it.
But maybe...I could come late and learn most of the music at home?
My art class is supposed to end at 3:50 but usually ends after 4. Then ten minutes added to get to the church...makes me quite late.
Dunno...so that's why I probably will just have to sing a solo that I can do myself at home w/out having to go to choir. Ohhh...I so want to come now! Alto would be so fun, if it didn't go too low.
Anyhow, like I said, once my family gets better I'll talk to them and see if something can't be arranged.

P.S. Tell Jake his behavior has thoroughly quenched any desire I have ever had to go to Swains again. :D He should perfectly understand.
