About Elisabeth

I am a seventeen-year-old, homeschooled artist.

Currently, I am trying to get my driver's license, am involved in leadership and worship for my youth group, and sing on the worship team at my church. I am taking British Literature, Algebra 1 & 2, Rosetta Stone Russian, and teaching her siblings science. On the side, I blog, paint, draw, practice violin, piano, and whatever else needs practicing. I am also planning to go to Running Start in Fall 2008 at my local community college.

I grew up in church and am still growing up there. I became a Christian at an early age but don't remember doing so. I loved being a kid and didn't enjoy being in middle school.

At the age of 14, I went to a choir camp (Aug 2006) and was there confronted by athiests and others who did not believe the same way I did. It was a shocker and God used it to grab my attention to him. He gave me grace during those ten days and I survived with her bible and a book that changed my life - Rachel's Tears, by Darrell Scott and Beth Nimmo.

That year I went home and started pursuing God in my own small way. Guided by books I read, my family and one night at youth group, I began hearing God's voice and started down the Highway of Holiness, where God called her to give up things that would hinder her from Him.

God then freed me and met me with radiant love at my church's summer camp, Identity. (Aug 2005). Spurred on by that, I spiritually grew and started stepping out into my God-given destiny.

Since then, I have grown more in love with Jesus and am still learning to stay faithful and honor Him in all I do.

My passion is to see God's presence displayed through my life and my artwork. I am a passionate follower of Jesus and hope to someday go to Ukraine, Belarus, and Australia. My talents other than painting include piano, writing, singing, and much of the Creative Arts.

  • Blogger - This can only work if you have a Google or Blogger account. Type in what it says.
  • Other - If you would like to have your first name appear, select this option and type in your name. I believe that homepage is optional.
